Welcome,
thank you for coming.

"Aida Vineyard" has been devoted to grape cultivation for
50 years in Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture.
The nutrition embedded in the soil,
the abundant rain that fertilizes it, and the healthy light that helps it grow.
We entrust all of the natural blessings that this land is gifted with to our grapes,
and in order to fill the fruit that can only be harvested once a year with deliciousness,
we continue to visit the fields every day, talk to the grapes,

and listen to their thoughts, carrying out the work of responding to them.

Come and see grapes
you've never seen before.

During the harvest season, you can enjoy grape picking,

including varieties that you may have never seen before.

However, what we put more effort into is cultivating
rare varieties
that are not commonly seen.
It requires more attention
and care than usual,
but the feeling of excitement
when they bear fruit like
beautiful jewels cannot be put into words.

With the heartfelt desire to encounter such
inspiring feelings,
we will continue to focus on the cultivation of rare species.

I am an eco-farmer who lives in
harmony with nature.

I have obtained an eco-farmer certification
because
I want to continue receiving
abundant harvests
from the nature that
produces wonderful grapes.
To reduce the
use of chemical fertilizers, I use compost
for
soil preparation and organic fertilizers
such as
rapeseed oil cake for plant growth.
I also make efforts to
live in harmony with
nature by minimizing the use of
herbicides
and using mechanical weeding

as much as possible.

What is an eco-farmer?

An eco-farmer refers to a farmer who has been certified by the governor based on the Law on Promotion of Introduction of Sustainable Agricultural Production Systems (commonly known as the Sustainable Agriculture Law), which aims to comprehensively reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides and promote soil improvement. The plan to achieve these goals is typically set for five years after certification.
